Role Overview: Solution Engineer

The Solution Engineer at Addverb Technologies plays a critical role in the conceptualization, design, and implementation of advanced automation systems. As a key member of the solutioning team, you will work closely with sales teams and clients to develop cost-effective and highly efficient solutions. The role requires expertise in systems design, vendor management, project execution, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Collaborating with Sales Teams and Customers: You will gather detailed project requirements, assess client pain points, and define practical objectives for automation solutions.
2. Designing Innovative Automation Solutions: Your primary task will be designing advanced material handling and warehouse automation systems. This includes preparing system layouts, flowcharts, and detailed project proposals.
3. Vendor Management and RFQ Preparation: As a Solution Engineer, you will manage relationships with key vendors, ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services. You’ll also be responsible for preparing and reviewing Requests for Quotations (RFQs), validating Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and managing costing.
4. Solution Validation and Review: Before moving forward, you will review and validate designs and solutions with senior managers to ensure accuracy and adherence to timelines.
5. Post-Contract Project Support: Your responsibilities extend beyond the initial design phase. You’ll assist project teams in executing the solutions, providing technical support, and managing any internal customer complaints.
6. Quality and Process Improvement: Ensuring quality management and conducting root cause analyses (RCA) to refine and enhance the cost-effectiveness of solutions will be key to your role.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering with a minimum of 60% in all academic performances.
• Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience in Material Handling and Warehouse Robotics.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD or BricsCAD and excellent command of MS Excel for data analysis and project management.
