Job Summary
AXA XL is seeking a qualified and experienced Business Analyst to join its Corporate CFO Solution Delivery Center in Bangalore. The selected candidate will work within the Application Solutions Team, supporting multiple applications under the Finance and Actuarial Applications portfolio. This role involves extensive interaction with both business and technical teams, ensuring that business needs are translated into functional technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements from stakeholders.

Translate business requirements into detailed specifications for development and testing teams.

Assess the feasibility and impact of proposed changes or enhancements from both a business and technical perspective.

Collaborate with transformation and process teams to ensure alignment with business workflows and process optimization.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by creating test scenarios and ensuring successful implementation.

Provide ongoing support for issues, defects, and enhancement requests related to applications.

Maintain clear and detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience in a Business Analyst or similar role.

Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, especially Agile practices.

Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and functional specification writing.

Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and Power BI for data analysis and visualization.

Prior exposure to insurance or financial domains is highly desirable.

Experience working with Oracle Finance systems will be considered a strong advantage.

Familiarity with standard Business Analyst tools and methodologies (e.g., Use Cases, UI Specs, As-Is/To-Be Process Maps).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Stakeholder management and adaptability to shifting business strategies and technologies.
Reporting Line
This position will report to the Business Analyst Lead within the Corporate CFO Solution Delivery Center.
