Educational Qualifications
- B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Key Responsibilities
1. Quality Standards Monitoring
Ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and production procedures across manufacturing operations.
2. Inspection Processes
- Incoming inspection of raw materials
- In-process inspection during manufacturing
- Final inspection before dispatch
3. Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Identify quality issues, initiate CAPA, and prevent recurrence through systematic problem-solving.
4. Quality Management Systems (QMS)
Assist in maintaining and implementing QMS standards such as ISO 9001, IATF, or API.
5. Documentation & Records
Prepare inspection reports, maintain test records, and support audit documentation.
6. Departmental Coordination
Coordinate with production, engineering, and suppliers to resolve quality-related issues efficiently.
7. Audit Support
Participate in internal audits and assist during customer or external audits.
8. Instrument Calibration
Ensure measuring instruments are calibrated and used correctly to maintain accuracy.
9. Root Cause Analysis
Support continuous improvement activities through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
10. Safety & Compliance
Follow safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements to maintain a secure work environment.
Skills Required
- Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T
- Knowledge of measuring tools (Vernier, Micrometer, etc.)
- Basic MS Excel & CAD software knowledge
- Familiarity with 7 QC tools and Lean Manufacturing
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
