About the Role: Lead I – Financial Control (Reporting Analyst)
As a Reporting Analyst, you’ll be instrumental in preparing comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages for Linde Engineering India. Your expertise will ensure data quality, consistency, and timely, accurate financial closing and forecasting. You’ll be at the forefront of deviation analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs), providing critical insights that drive business decisions.

You’ll work closely with our global finance community, contributing to the enhancement of existing financial reporting, controlling, and planning tools and templates. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Monthly Financial Reporting Packages: Deliver accurate and insightful financial reports crucial for strategic planning.
- Ensure Data Quality & Consistency: Conduct thorough checks to maintain high standards of financial data integrity.
- Timely Financial Closing & Forecasting: Oversee processes to ensure all financial deadlines are met with precision.
- Deviation Analysis: Identify and explain variances in key performance indicators, providing actionable insights.
- Global Collaboration: Actively support and contribute to the global finance community in refining reporting, controlling, and planning systems.
- Subject Matter Expert: Become the go-to expert for big data analysis and Excel-based templates and reports.
Eligibility Criteria & Additional Requirements:

| Minimum Qualification | Chartered Accountant (CA) |
| Experience | Minimum 0-6 years of experience in Finance. Must have worked in a mid-size company in a similar role. |
| Language Skills | Fluent in English language (written and spoken) is mandatory. Knowledge in German language is an advantage. |
| Technical Proficiency | Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Power BI/Query/Pivot. Profound knowledge about Tableau, SAP applications, Hyperion, and/or business warehouse systems is an advantage. |
| Analytical & Soft Skills | Excellent analytical skills and entrepreneurial thinking. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Strong intercultural awareness. |
| Digitalization Interest | Interested in and ideally gained knowledge in RPA (Robotic Process Automation), AI (Artificial Intelligence), predictive analytics, and other digitalization tools. |
| Mobility | Willingness to travel/work abroad (e.g., for training sessions in Germany). |
