Role: Trainee Engineer

As a Trainee Engineer at Siemens Technology and Services Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Design Engineering Service Line—Automation and Fire. Your primary responsibility will be to generate and maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring accuracy and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and maintain accurate Bill of Materials (BOM) for the Design Engineering Service Line—Automation and Fire.
• Update BOM with accurate material information, including Siemens and third-party materials.
• Collaborate with the operational team and interact with various stakeholders to ensure seamless processes.
• Utilize Smart Infrastructure Parts for gathering common materials or pricing.
• Associate quotes to line items in SAP and insert/update Sourcing Approval Forms (SAF) created by the Design Engineer.
• Work closely with Team Leads to prioritize BOM requests and create re-estimates for Design Engineers.
• Manage automation tasks such as running DT to SAP BOM transfers and inserting missing/third-party materials.
• Handle fire-related tasks, including entering materials in SAP based on the fire deviation report and final design, adjusting as needed.

What You Bring:

• 0-2 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Graduation in any Enineering discipline.
• SAP know-how.
• Preferred candidates from diverse backgrounds.
• Self-determination, strong learning and communication skills, and a network built on trust.
• Team player with a strong customer focus and professional ethics.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, proactive mindset, self-motivation, and a result-oriented approach.
• Good understanding of commercial terms and the ability to liaise and coordinate effectively with colleagues.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
