Role 1: Presales Engineer

Responsibilities:

As a Presales Engineer, you will:

  • Conduct Solution Demonstrations: Show the value of Zoho products through detailed product demonstrations.
  • Collaborate for Technical Discovery: Work with clients to understand their business needs and technical environment.
  • Lead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs): Demonstrate the effectiveness of solutions in customer environments.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs: Assist with technical responses for proposals by addressing business and technical requirements.
  • Support Sales: Partner with the sales team to develop strategies and highlight technical benefits.
  • Ensure Customer Success: Provide ongoing technical guidance to ensure customer satisfaction during the sales process.
  • Product Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends and Zoho’s evolving product suite.
  • Communicate with Stakeholders: Liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
  • Feedback Management: Relay product feedback from clients to the product management team to enhance the roadmap.

Key Requirements:

  • Education in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in pre-sales or technical consulting is a plus.
  • Knowledge in BI platforms, SQL, APIs, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Ability to manage POCs and respond to technical sections of RFPs.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or R is desirable.

Role 2: Technical Support Engineer

We are looking for Technical Support Engineers who can also take on customer success responsibilities, particularly for Zoho’s Analytics Plus product.

Support Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent IT helpdesk/technical support with clear communication and a neutral accent.
  • Proactively handle customer queries via multiple channels (calls, remote, chat, emails).
  • Adapt to rotating shifts across different time zones.
  • Knowledge of SQL and experience with databases and BI tools is preferred.
  • A self-learner with the desire to master new technologies.

Customer Success Responsibilities:

  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for customers, ensuring a successful long-term relationship.
  • Understand customers’ business needs and ensure the product is used to its full potential.
  • Maintain visibility through regular health checks and retention efforts.
  • Identify upsell opportunities and suggest additional Zoho services when appropriate.
  • Provide training and collect reviews and case studies from customers when needed.

Key Requirements:

  • A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in customer success, account management, or technical support.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
